I like the way she firmly maintains that she is perfectly healthy, even though she can barely walk and were she left to fend for herself, she would die.

This is a classic case of a "feeder", essentially she is basically captive in her own body and the bloke just feeds her, she barely moves and gets heavier. Saw a US documentary on it once call "Fat Girls and Feeders". One guy on there had turne the girl's bed into a giant weighing scale so he could wiegh her without her having to get out of bed. Very wierd.
