How stupid do you have to be to roast yourself alive till you get skin cancer? Personally I prefer the pale look any way, girls take note!

I will admit that I use sun beds in moderation. I know the risks involved. Members of my family have had cancer for no reason so anyone can get it.

I know thats not an excuse as lying on a senbed is like wishing cancer on yourself but theres no guarantee and I just wanna liove for today.

life is too short.

fair enough sasha but do you not reliase most geezers find the shrivelled up prune look rather unattractive!
lol yes that is a very fair point. Tho my mum was always loved the sun and sunbeds and she looks amazing for her age.

I hope my skin will not shrivel up, but I guess that's a risk I'm willing to take.

I don't like looking pale as I feel I look ill. thats just my personal thoughts tho.
Yes but Geezer you haven't seen my milk bottle legs! You'd have to wear shades just to stop yourself from being blinded by the light reflected off them !!!

And what about those poor sods who don't tan and just turn into lobsters? Surely that's worse?
I'm very pale skinned but get very bored sun-bathing or on a sunbed so I use fake....
morning craft.......fake what?
^ I read that as Flake - as in the choccy bar ;-)
er tan - in summer I go and get a respray every month sqad
I use cuprinol - cheaper, and does what it says on the tin.
It itches a bit though in certain areas. Don't shave for a few days beforehand...
salla I had to google "cuprinol" to see what you were on about lol.

Craft how can you find sun-bathing boring?? It's so relaxing I usually fall asleep which normally means I wake up burnt. :(

Fake tan always streaks and ends up tubbing off onto your clothes and bedding.
"tubbing off onto your clothes and bedding. "

Sasha.....we are talking about "TANNING" not "W.....G
hi sasha - I'm okay if sun-bathing next to a pool so I can keep cooling off otherwise I just get too hot. I've never had fake tan problems as I have it done at a local salon - god knows what it would look like if I tried to do it myself...
right - now off for hair cut.....
No Squad i know we are.

but It just rubs off especially if I wear white jeans. Maybe it's just me then.

I'm obviously just different................! :(
R1 you like the pale look? I prefer a woman with a sexy bronzed healthy look that feels good over a pasty, doughy unsexy woman ANYDAY! Tans rule girls, and besides R1 should'nt you feel flattered at the dangers that these women will go through to impress us?
I do find the idea of ritualistically painting yourself a different colour every couple of weeks, rather endearing, if not eccentric.

But quite frankly it is just vanity, and I abhor vanity.
I don't like sunbeds and don't go tan anyway, I'd rather be white than get skin cancer.

I used to work with a smart, slim older lady in her late 50's who had 4 foreign holidays a year and was obviously a sun worshipper. My boss said to me once "from the back she looks 18, but from the front she looks 80". Due of course to her skin being wrinkled through to much sun!
