Yes. And he's done it to me too - many many a time.
Yes, I was feeling really maudlin and low. I could hardly see to text, but what made it worse is that she was out for a meal with him, gone to the toilet, and left her phone on the table. He saw and actually read the text, but I was so drunk it never made sense in the first place.
I txt alot of my exes knowing they have partners because I am still mates with them and they dont mind
I should just eat my sim card when I am drunk. Would save a shed load of hassle.
I know just what you mean Barmaid - alcohol + mobile = trouble, regret + embarrassment.
Ooh no! Saying that, the last time I had an x was over 25 years ago! Were they around then? lol.

I think most of us have done even though we have no intention in getting back together. We just have to have a go or being us woman just have the last word.
I'm just so glad that mobile phones and text messaging were not heard of when I was young! They take away your freedom!!

Loftylottie2 yes you are right there. My kids know my every move and when I do answer they say Where are you? or Where have you been? and most often get caught out at the supermarket checkout.
My phone is switched off almost permanently!!
No I haven't. I don't keep exes numbers and I try not to get that drunk. I would feel very cheap and de-meaned in the morning if I did that and I'd feel awful for days so I'd rather just avoid it all together.
My husband doesn't have an ex-wife & I'm glad about that, 'cos you never know what you're capable of after a few brandy & lemonades! ;o/

I keep my mobile on 'silent', so that people around me can't hear it ring or beep when I receive a text.

It's a good excuse for when I'm trying to do a bit of retail therapy!

Two para's the same & that's only after a cuppa tea!

I copied & pasted the last para to the top, then forgot to remove the last one!
Dangerous things mobile phones!!! I wonder how many relationships have been wrecked because of them. Personally, I think we were better off before they existed.

I know they have some very good uses, but in general I think the bad outweighs the good.
I agree, 'specially the camera/mobiles & the problems they have/can cause!
