IF we get an election, read this and think to your self that this is what Blair and Brown have done to the country.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/7025 381.stm

(A lady shot on a London street, probably by warring drug gangs).

A few years ago this would have been a rare occurance, but now we seeme to read it, and things like it, every day, often more than once a day.

10 years of lack of border controls, or releasing prisoners early, of allowing rampant drug use and drug selling, longer licensing hours, drunk and drugged people on the streets.

It does not HAVE to be like this, it is not like this is other countries.

Blair and Brown have allowed this country to become a run down third world slum, while standing back and rubbing their hands with glee because they got rid of Saddam.

As a country we may never recover from their period in office.

And the alternative is?
a little over 10 years ago you could drive a coach + horses between Labour and Tory policy, now you can't seperate them with a razor blade.
And to think they have a massive lead in the polls whos kidding who ? we need a radical overhaul of the way we are governed IE we tell the poloticians what we want
I've said it before and I will say it again. Everone should go out to vote at the next election, instead of sitting on their back-sides at home.

Then when you put your cross on the voting paper, don't put it against a candidate who is a present MP.

This way we will get all new faces in the House of Commons, and this present load of jokers will have to get a proper job.
I agree with aog. Too much voter apathy. People say 'my vote won't make a difference so I won't bother', But it does matter and you should vote!

I take it by this you mean the 'good old days?'

Not necessarily. There was a fantastic letter to the economist a few weeks ago that pointed out a column in the Pall Mall Gazette, Februrary 1901, stating:

"The constable in certain districts is looked upon as the common enemy whom it is right to kick and beat whenever that can be done with safety."

In 1898, our beloved Daily Mail ran a story describing youth who had broke into their school and "completely wrecked the furnishings".

drunk and drugged people on the streets

There's always been drunk violence on the streets. Drugs are relatively new, but certainly aren't limited to the Blair/Brown tenure.

Blair and Brown have allowed this country to become a run down third world slum, while standing back and rubbing their hands with glee because they got rid of Saddam.

I think you're exaggerating. Very strongly. Crime is certainly a problem - there' s no denying that - but to blaim Blair & Brown for it all is a tad silly. (Note that I'm not a fan of Blair and my jury's still out on Brown - I'm just saying it's unfair to blame them for this)
freedom coupled with the human rights act spells c=h=a=o=s
