This morning on Breakfast it was said 'Blair has his whole life before him.' Forgiving the Banality of this remark, wouldn't all those Dead Soldiers and Civilians in Iraq like to be able to say the same ?

You never know..an assassination attempt may be on the cards..
Yes, I'm sure they would and I'm very sorry that they can't.

But they entered a profession knowing they could die on the job.
On the cards?...about 9 years too late!

tiny, unless you're making some clever point about life being a terminal illness,I think you will find that the Civilians didn't sign up for the War.
No, no clever point, my comment was in reference to the dead soldiers.
Better late than never, eh Elvis?
Here`s hoping Pippa lol
Best not 'labour' the point though, Elvis..we might be arrested for treason ;o)
It`ll be the Cherie on the cake though eh Pippa?
I you 're not arrested for treason after blowing people up on trains and buses Pippa then you are quite safe making remarks as you did although again what race are you ?
Perhaps ther's time before he goes to accuse him of having WMD, a parting shot?

I am an English caucasian, Dolly..think I am bu88ered, eh?

At least I wouldn't have to look at Anthony & Cheryl again.
Pippa, methinks dolly thinks you is black innit
Oh dear...I can think of worse colours to be. Orange for one.
I think in Tony's speech in Sedgefield this morning came closest to admit he had made a mistake in going to war in Iraq although he wasn't too precise. Lumping his Iraq adventure with the other wars he has taken us into he stressed a positive engagement with our enemies is needed and is the only option. But Iraq was a war too far and he was guided by his conscience.
Moral: never trust a politician who is guided by his religious beliefs. God can never be on two sides at once!
What brilliant sentiment brionon, I couldn't have put it better myself.

It is only a pity that tiny e.a could not have shown the same amount of compassion. I only hope he never dies on the job!!!

brionon am I missing something, have I ever given you any reason to assume you are also an old git, and what's with the Lita Rosa remark? Did you play for Len Heath Orchestra, or are you indeed Dennis Lotis?

Question Author
Blimey you really are Ain't you !
I saw them both at the Tower during National Service.
I asked Lita to dance with me but she just shook a finger at me and laughed.
