Of course...certainly by those with a grasp on reality rather than those brainwashed by media distortion.
As opposed to those brainwashed by endless spin. I don't think he's some sort of monster but I think the spins goe too far. Yes these boys have been trying to pull the wool over our eyes for years but it seems they are not unable to accept any responsibility for anything.
I get the impression, Lyndsey, that you are grading answers not on their intrinsic value but on how closely they seem to echo your own preconception of what these answers ought to be. Correct me if I'm wrong. (I'm not querying your perfect right to do that, by the way.)
As being taken seriously can only really be a matter for an individual to decide it cannot have a correct answer, by asking the question I quess Lyndsey feels he cannot. Its note often people rate answers so well done to you for doing so :)
Absolutely, Gilf! Perhaps it's the word 'really' in Lyndsey's question that rather gives the game away. He/she might as well have written: "Blair obviously can't expect to be taken seriously any more, can he?" Any answer that basically said: "Of course he can't" would then have been 'correct' in the questioner's opinion.

But the question actually was: "Does Blair really expect..." To this, the only truly correct answer is: "Yes, he does"...to which might be added: "and many people agree that he should." This is the exact opposite of what Lyndsey clearly hopes to hear! Hence my earlier whinge. Cheers

Leave Lionel alone....he's a very good dancer and all round cabaret entertainer...while the height of his fame with his "Give us a clue" days may be well behind him it's cruel to suggest we shouldn't take him seriously.
Nice one, S...like it!
What a great answer Quizmonster.

As to your assessment of my ratings they cannot be more far from the truth, i base my ratings on the way the are presented, i find gilf easy to undersatnd i.e. his answer seems to be more logical than "quizmonster" but i have given you a three star rating as i see your argument so if i have offended you please accept my apologys.
Certainly no offence has been taken and thus no apology is necessary. Clearly, I'd question your point about logicality, but that - as you say - is a matter of opinion, so what the hey! It just seemed to me that you'd asked rather a 'loaded' question and I felt the need to provide an answer that wasn't, as it were, a form of 'self-fulfilling prophecy'.

surely the question is does he expect to be voted for? (not by me he wont. dont care if its media spin or fairy stories, he was wrong to go to war imho)
