I have a messgae on my screen that says "No Satellite Signal is being recieved" This is all the time on certain channels (abc1,disney channel, challenge+1 and quite a few others.) Does anyone know how to fix this or what to do? Any help is appreciated.

We had the same problem recently and after spending about half hour on my mobile and using all my credit, they decided they couldn't help and sent out an engineer.
Turned out we needed a new box. Luckily it was less than 12 months old so they replaced it FOC.
I would ring the helpline and see if they can help you.
I get it regularly but it's to do with weather conditions in my case.
If It Sky First switch off your machine take out the card and replace then switch on your machine it may scan again and get the channels this will do the same for cable leave for three mins before switching on . If it is sky it may be a problem with the cables but most probley the dish but be warned they will charge you as the equipment is yours it cost us around 70 to get the guy out to fix the problem which was the transmiter on the dish .I know that not having you tv is a real pain you will have sky news that never goes off
I have this happen on a regular basis, especially when the weather is rubbish like today. If you just unplug your skybox and leave it for a couple of mins before plugging back in, it will say, searching and then it will be fine.
hi there this also happens to me regularly but is normally due to weather conditions - when i phoned sky to come out they triede to charge me after an argument i told them that i would cancel my subscription with them - they sent an engineer for free as they should after all we pay a monthly subscription...
