These charitiy tv ads are brilliant don't you think. The sob stories make mince meat out of the Repair shop.

Love the one of the young homeless teenager that they rescue from the streets, and within no time at all she's in a almost brand new fully furnished flat. Now thats action for you. Hope they manage to rescue those poor donkeys carrying all them ruddy bricks.<:0(

Well I'm gutted.

I bought a Jaguar a few months ago for £12000, shortly afterwoods I was advised by an advert on TV that I could have adopted one for £3 a bloody month.

I think this poster is evidence of Anti-nominative-determinism.

Says the poster who's name means attack attack attack 😘

I used to enjoy the Repair shop - but now it's all about tear-jerking stories and not about the crafts.  Sob stories on adverts turn me off.  I'm probably old-fashioned.  I've taught in very rough areas and now I'm involved with a genuine homeless association through church.

I really hope that the TV ads. pull some genuine charity from people's hearts, however.  A lot of very clever emotional response triggers.  Fingers crossed that they work.

nicebloke - better double your donation to the donkey charity!

mmmm, jarg, I sense something....a presence, I've not felt since....

I will refrain from saying the obvious.

yes you seem very familiar for someone who's just joined.

I rest my case

I would probably donate if they didn't ask for such large amounts.      Secret Santa for children----£15,Salvation Army------£19 (might be more now)and Crisis-----£29-73p(odd amount ).

21:52, what case?

ToraT you were not even around when I was on here many many years ago so how could I seem familiar to you ?

I have seen your antics on here and must admit I disapprove of them but hey ho..

Your manner is familiar, I have reported you to the ED as a possible banned member, lets see if they recognise you. I think I know now but waiting for you to show me some more plumage.

Oh dear it looks like my card is marked then 🙄

BTW my 21:33 post was meant for nicebloke.

....I used a couple of long words but if you look them up you'll see that the name "nicebloke" is key here.

Will you be changing your name to Dickie Arbiter as you press on as gatekeeper, sleuth and general suck-up?

Asking for the incredulous weary.

TTT will you stop using my thread for your manhunt. If you have a problem with another poster start your own thread. Also stop using my AB name in your process. Thankyou

I will refrain from saying the obvious.

no please dont

You know these are not homeless people but actors? Fren' gave money to a homeless beggar - I cd see the smear marks of dirt on her face and her teeth were too good....

and he later remarked - "I saw her getting  into a car ( driver seat) in Harpurhey." I only give to organisations

Yeah ! I am not pedantic at all

exact - perhaps...

🤣🤣🤣
