... the Tories are going to eliminate the NHS and close all hospitals to save money.

After all people are obviously going to die, we can't save everyone. There's no point in moaning about it, it is inevitable. Accept it and move on.

"Is there any truth in the rumour I've just made up that the Tories are going to eliminate the NHS and close all hospitals to save money."

There has been some adverse reactions to the vaccine...had you just had your 36th jab?

It seems that canary is stretching Boris' comments to their ultimate absurdity.

Ho hum!

Canary posts all this nonsense, yet never comes back on here to back up his non-sensical claims. If he comes back to this posting it will be a first.

Lol

someone been on drugs!!!

Oh! I really hope not!

My friend needs a new hip!

I need a new knee after years of rugby.

Confirmed last week, being done next week.

Privately.

On the NHS it was 18 months.

The NHS isn't fit for purpose. The surgeon who is doing me next week is an NHS consultant.

Maybe it's the surgeons and not the NHS that's the problem.

If the Tories are elected for another term, I think that during that term they plan to increase the number of people waiting for hospital treatment to 60 million; then claim success in that the number no longer increases.

Tilly, I had my new hip on 1st December, home on the 3rd. Best thing that's ever happened to me - two years of grinding pain, gone! Have now got to do the physio so I can actually walk properly. I hope your friend doesn't have to wait long.

How much did that cost you roo?

Err, good old NHS, ttt

Lithuania seems to be the place to go to bag a bargain.

As I've said before and it is only my opinion, I am not a medical person but I enjoy watching TV docuseries. A large number of patients who are scraped off the road, dragged from under various pieces of machinery or large animals, attacked, assaulted or whatever you want to call it, would not have made it to hospital a few years ago. DOA, dead on arrival, but now with the high level of skills that a great many ambulance technicians, helicopter doctors and single manned emergency cars have they can use procedures that would have been deemed risky in A&E. They can take over breathing on a trolley at the roadside , they carry vast amounts of CPR equipment, monitoring equipment and blood transfusion equipment. One double car smash can elicit as many as four or five various emergency medical vehicles. They are saving people who wouldn't have stood a cat in hells chance of survival and are still coping with all the drunks and druggies that turn up every Friday and Saturday night to be allowed to sleep it off!
