....all those that honoured it. Obviously Gulliver had to BS right through it.

Who made you milk monitor ?

I hev no idea why the palestinians did not say ( prodded perhaps by a marxist white) we are also marching for the dead women and children in Gaza.....

anyway min 1 - for those who went - such as my fransfather one of 100 000 in the Royal Field Artillery and survived

and min 2 for the fallen dead

My other gransfather did not serve but tried - badly set elbow when he fell off a horse, so unfit - - - for the great war. (I thought they took anyone)

oh we think the palestinians may bomb the cenotaph.....did anyone hear that? - incredz

No.

the cenotaph has been guarded since thur ( they say) - to prevent naughtiness of any sort - all this as far as I can see is a social construct. The main service is tomorrow when all the protesters have gone home.

Mr Yaxley-Lennon and associated idiots have turned up in London to 'help' it seems....

(I can seem to post the link I wanted)

The police have made it clear that Mr yaxxley Lennon's assitance is NOT asked for or required

but they are re olting over the palestinian march

It would appear the EDL have been allowed to protest ?

JtH. Tommy Robinson & Co were there to protect  the cenotaph if necessary, against the Jew-hating mob.

What's wrong with that?

and for that matter, what's wrong with using his prefered name? do you refer to Elton John as Reginald Kenneth Dwight ?

Khandro - Yaxley-Lennon and associated thugs (mainly EDL) several of whom have already thrown bottles at the Police Officers legitimately guarding the cenotaph, arrived completely uninvited, ostensibly to protect the Cenotaph. However, as the occasion will, no doubt, offer ample opportunities for a good 'dust-up' I can only imagine the relish with which they all accepted the 'call to arms'.

Yaxley-Lennon is his proper name - Tommy Robinson (a much lauded, in certain circles, football thug) is simply his assumed name. Elton John changed his, officially, by deed-poll.

The cenotaph was well protected, the right wing protesters were neither asked or given the opportunity to ' protect '

From a BBC news report.

"Here's everything else he (assistant commissioner Matt Twist) said:

The main pro-Palestinian march formed up about midday. It’s fair to say the march is absolutely enormous. It’s the biggest we’ve seen since the start of this period.

From about 09:00 GMT this morning we’ve seen several hundred counter protestors that came towards Whitehall. They came intent on confrontation, intent on violence, and intent on causing trouble.

We’ve made a number of arrests within the counter protest including for possession of a knife, possession of a baton, possession of class A drugs and assault on an emergency worker.

Our intent is to prevent them coming into contact with the main march, that is the primary goal.

We have a very substantial policing operation but that is being distracted by the counter protest that we’ve had to deal with. from Matt Twist Assistant commissioner of the Metropolitan Police

Khandro - you post "Tommy Robinson & Co were there to protect  the cenotaph if necessary, against the Jew-hating mob."

1   It sounds naive to accept that they were there to protect the cenotaph.

2   Your use of the term 'Jew-hating mob' is unjustifed and inflammatory.

After all the hatred spewed and ignored at these marches, tell me that's a joke.

Naomi; almost as much as is spewed within AB. That's the way things are at the moment. All black and white. No hint of any understanding or consideration of opposing views or perceptions.

Dogma, fundamentalism and hatred at work on all sides.

Most regrettable.
