Maybe the team weren't expecting a welcome, and just took the opportunity to leave ASAP.
Canary - Do you mean the team are unappreciative?

They would have nothing to do with their travel arrangements, and may well have preferred to meet fans.

There could be good reasons for them being taken elsewhere, security for one, and maybe a need to get over the journey, and all the emotions, and just take a breath.
Would they have seen their fans had they won ?
Either way AH its not good PR.

//and maybe a need to get over the journey, and all the emotions, and just take a breath.//

No, do you really think this would have happened if they had won?
Probably not, for reasons I have suggested, and possibly more, the arrangement may well have been the same.

We don't know, which is why it's not fair to jump to conclusions.
Quote from All Football -
Sources at the FA told MailOnline that teams never go through arrivals after a big tournament - and their private departure was planned for logistical reasons.
Looks like they were not given a choice.
Never mind. When the little girl in photograph #1 manages to tear herself away from football she may learn the difference between an adjective and an adverb.
YMB - It's not good PR, but that's not the team's fault, they have no say, so they are not 'miserable', or 'unappreciative', or, in fact, 'girls'.
I agree with OG. Perhaps they weren't expecting a welcoming committee - and their travel arrangements aren't up to them anyway.
I don't see where YMB mentions "Girls"

13.04, if the girl suffers from learning difficulties, she might not know the difference between an adjective and an adverb! I'm just saying.

Possibly. But then somebody who is helping her with her difficulties should have corrected her error when sh was making her placard.
"Amazing" was one of the teams they played judge.

Gosh NJ, you know more about English Grammar than a little girl. And to think we would never have learnt that significant fact about you if it hadn't been for your sanctimonious little post.
NJ - amazing seems to be common parlance these days, you only have to watch TV for 10 minutes and someone will say 'they did amazing ' she did amazing ' or even worse they/she done amazing.
^^ Yes, you played amazing = you played very good.
Even more common is "she done great"
