Ukraine supposedly made a crossing of the Dnipro yesterday or the day before in an area east of Kherson city.
Meanwhile a plant making “optical equipment” near Moscow has gone boom. Possibly hit by a drone: there appears to be a lot of ammunition exploding there …

Maybe it's an attempt to show the West as aggressors again, I wouldn't put it past the Russians themselves. Putin won't care if some of his own fall victim. It helps his argument that everyone is attacking poor mother russia.

^^^but we don't know if it's a gift from the West - it could be the Chinese. They don't really want Russia to prevail so they can reclaim their original, oil-rich regions in the east.

Having trawled around a bit, the smart money does seem to be more in favour of the hit being on an optical instrument facility than you being gulliver's love child .... but you never know.
