A side occupation, surely. What would he do after breakfast ?
I wonder how much they have agreed to pay him – apparently the Torygraph were paying him £275,000 to write rubbish for them – now, as ex-prime minister he would surely command more.
an ex prime minister writing for the daily mail how embarrassing
He's found his level.
If you lie down with dogs, you get fleas.

And then I thought that this IS the DM; and this IS Boris.

And now I have a dog and flea conundrum going round in my head.

It is a truly masterful bit of pairing up.
i'm sure he'll be delighted :)

Green eyed monster is out I see.

Well he has done better than all of you hasnt he?
meow lol get a grip man
Hmmm… interesting.
Will he be contracted to tell lies ?
"Well he has done better than all of you hasnt he?"

called the politics of envy...all the idiots on here deriding him would love to earn anywhere the amount of money he does...truly laughable
There is no green eyed monster here, YMF. I have been a tory all my life. I had a lot of time for Boris but I am extremely disappointed in him.

Now it transpires that he lied and did so quite consistently whilst the rest of us were not seeing elderly relatives nor celebrating important family occasions since we were obeying the rules that BOJO and his mates implemented and then saw fit to disregard whilst ensuring that the rest of us were subject to all manner of potential draconian measures. An old friend of mine died alone in hospital because none of his family were able to be there - that has devastated them and continues to do so.

He lied, he got caught, he was wrong. As I said, I had a lot of time for him and I really felt for him having to lead a crisis that had not been seen in most lifetimes. But there is no excuse for his outrageous lies.
^Balderdash … and that’s all I have to say on the subject … for now.
Boris Johnson is an incredible writer. His book, The Churchill Factor, was one of the best and funniest books I've ever read.

I don't believe he deliberately misled Parliament or anyone else any more so that Sir Smarmy. The anti-Boris culture is a vindictive one and I believe the findings of the report are largely vindictive.

Well said LadyCG. Agreed
They pay better than the Telegraph.
The future of the DT is under thread because the owners owe a lot of money to a bank.
The Mail is a more secure job, a bigger readership, and the readers are natural Johnson supporters.
Is AnswerBank owned or connected to the Daily Mail. If so can we expect more lies than usual on AB.
Who here are you accusing of lying, Gulliver?
In reality there probably are bigger liars than Johnson on AB, Gulliver, but lack of self awareness and fervent self-denial are usually traits of such people.

Do you not admit to ever bending the truth to suit your own agenda?
I buy the Daily Mail .......... only on a Saturday, and I buy it only for its magazine, which has an excellent television section in it.

Now Boris is writing for it, I'll need to walk home with the paper hidden inside something like a sack so that my neighbours don't see me carrying it. Oh the shame!
