In our reality, this universe, things are now 'multi-worse' in the multiverse.

ABers I did think to put on a quiz, you do like a good quiz it seems..
only problem the answer to every question is - things are worse!!

"It is a year now since the Rejoin EU Party started raising the failure of democracy in the UK represented by Brexit."

Hm.
@12.45.Where did you get that information from?....That well known right-wing publication, the Guardian newspaper. Why do you ask?
@13.47

Because the don't live in the UK?
‘ I wonder how many of them on here are members of the Rejoin Party?’

I’m not. And never will be.
//@12.45.Where did you get that information from?....That well known right-wing publication, the Guardian newspaper. Why do you ask?//

Because you keep on saying it and I don’t know that there is any substance to it. However, it doesn’t matter because, as Corby has pointed out, it made no difference to the overall result of the referendum.

//Dave, somebody already done dat:
https://therejoineuparty.com/ //

Hmm…let’s see how they’ve been getting on:

*Chesham & Amersham Parliamentary by-election (17th June 2021)*

LibDems: 21,517
Conservatives: 13,489
Rejoin EU: 101

*London Mayor and Assembly Elections (6th May 2021)*
(Remember, 60% of Londoners who voted in the referendum voted to remain).

Rejoin EU only fielded candidates for the London-wide seats.

Labour: 986,609
Conservatives: 795,081
Rejoin EU: 49,389

*Chester Parliamentary by-election (1st December 2022)*

Labour: 17,309
Conservatives 6,335
Rejoin EU: 277

*Stretford & Urmston Parliamentary by-election (15th December 2022)*

Labour: 12,828
Conservatives: 2,922
Rejoin EU: 237

*Golders Green ward Local Council by-election (16th February 2023)*

Conservatives: 1,623
Labour: 547
Rejoin EU: 99

Despite there being a party whose entire raison d’être is to get the UK’s EU membership restored and despite these being either by-elections or local elections (where "fringe" candidates often thrive), there really doesn’t seem to be much of an appetite for it, does there?

@14.50.Thats all we need on this site,NJ and TCL.A English nationalist and a Scottish nationalist.Isnt nationalism a scourge in the world?
This false claim has already been debunked more than once:
https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/14950013.36-snp-labour-supporters-backed-brexit-finds-survey/

According to the above poll 36% of SNP members voted for Brexit, which means that 64% didn't, roughly in line with the 68% of the entire Scottish population who voted to remain.

Why our resident obsessive continues to proliferate her lies really is a matter between her and her medical team.
Can I just thank modanon for removing the very offensive video on page 1 of this thread. It's good that we do have some mods about at the weekend when this sort of thing needs addressing.
@15.31.A bigger percentage of SNP voters voted for Brexit than Scottish Tory voters or Scottish Labour voters.Thats why i say down in England it was English Tory voters who voted for Brexit and up here in Scotland it was Scottish SNP voters who voted for Brexit.Nationalists will be nationalists.
Am sure your wrong ynnafymmi . It wasnt a bigger %- it was a bigger number because SNp was the biggest party.
But to blame SNP- you might as well blame straight people or white people or blue eyeds or able-bodieds as more of them voted for brexit than non-whites/LGBTQs, brown eyeds, disabled
You're wasting your time, bobb.
We know that's what you claim since you post it often enough but it made NO difference to the result.
//Thats why i say down in England it was English Tory voters who voted for Brexit...//

Some of them probably did - and some probably didn't. In the same way, some Scottish SNP voters voted for Brexit - and some didn't. And as bob points out, some white people voted for it (others didn't); some gay people voted for it (and others didn't).

I really don't know why you keep repeating this mantra because (a) you don't know the numbers (nor does anybody else) and (b) - most importantly - it doesn't matter. What matters is that 17.4m people voted to leave and only 16.1 people voted to remain. Which party they normally voted for is of no relevance whatsoever.
uk is done with the the federalist eu and all it's unelected over paid cronies, a lot of people do not dig a little deeper into its running.
a lot are only interested in err my holidays or timeshares are effected
bluub.
None of the Brexiteers on here seems to mention the sunlit uplands of Brexit any more – the cheaper food, clothing, shoes, higher pay, cheaper housing etc we were promised as an immediate benefit of leaving the EU.

When government ministers appear on TV and are asked to list a Brexit benefit, the answer comes there none; even the Brexiteers on here are keeping those mythical benefits secret.

Like the Emperor’s new clothes, eventually some child is going to point out what a turd Brexit is, and everyone will wonder how anyone could have thought anything different.
//None of the Brexiteers on here seems to mention the sunlit uplands of Brexit any more –//

I never did. Such nonsense has never appealed to me.

//When government ministers appear on TV and are asked to list a Brexit benefit, the answer comes there none;//

All they need to say is that the UK is no longer a member of that pernicious organisation that is the European Union. No other benefits are necessary.
Did the people voting for Brexit really vote to be poorer (it would appear so)?

No, of course they didn't! They voted for Brexit because they somehow thought that doing so would allow the UK to "regain control of its borders", or that somehow the alleged £350m paid to the UK every week would be reinvested in the NHS, because that's what they thought the signs on the buses meant. They really were that thick...
//the alleged £350m paid to the UK every week //

paid to the EU! - now who's thick dummy?
