I came across a few of these shows and have enjoyed watching them again. These, and another series from that time, Minder, were great comedy dramas.
Any others come to mind?

I used to love the Dukes of Hazzard and Hart to Hart but don't think I could watch them now
Another few: To the Manor Born and Worzel Gummidge
I have my daily fix of Minder , on ITV4.

Brilliant comedy drama series.
The character Arthur Daly , brilliantly potrayed by the late George Cole
My grandchildren were rolling on the floor at The Blood Donor, Tony Hancock of course.
Last of the Summer Wine, makes me very homesick, not a bit like Norfolk! Again the grandchildren were fascinated by the difference in picture quality between the early episodes and the later one which prompted a discussion of under-privileged we were only to have 2 channels in the 50s!
By the time he recorded 'The Blood Donor', Hancock was deep in the grip of alcoholism and had to read most of his lines from large cue cards - very obvious once you know this, and makes it unwatchable for me.
I like to catch early episodes of Inspector Morse from circa 1987,88. I lived in Oxford from mid to late 90's and really enjoy seeing all the old locations, cars, fashions and how it was in those days.
On The Up was good. also Stay Lucky
I loved Worzel Gummidge!

I also loved Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie and Mr Ed. I also went through a phase of watching Highway to Heaven. I never missed an episode of Dynasty or Dallas and I really enjoyed Manimal.
Loved most of those too Lady CG but never heard of Manimal.
I loved Worzel Gummidge, too!. Used to make me laugh. Loved Aunt Sally, ..
No Hiding Place.

I used to love the opening sequence with the police car with its BELLS ringing rushing out on an emergency. No two-tone sirens in those days.
Did anyone watch the Beverley Hillbillies?
Yes, I did elliemay. Never missed it. Funny..
Yes, it was really funny in its day
Tales of the Unexpected was also good
