This was indicated several days back by No 10 and Ben Wallace.
It’s part of the new “coalition of the willing” that should be confirmed this Friday at the meeting of the Ramstein group of 40 countries committed to provide military aid to Ukraine. Poland and Finland jumped first on the tank front as I mentioned before. Denmark and Spain wait in the wings. A rocket up the backside of the German Chancellor now all that’s needed
It might not seem like it just now but this is the beginning of the end for the “special military operation”
This is the west saying to Russia ; “we’re pushing out”
I think most people will think this is a good thing and are very supportive of the Ukraine. They need all the help they can get. You are clearly highly knowledgeable of the situation and post interesting updates for us to follow. Therefore it's only right if you say we have plenty of CR2s to send but then when asked how many you say you don't know and don't care it rather deflects from the good stuff you are relating - don't you think? I would have hoped that everything you post about the situation is 100% correct.
Yes I read some months ago in the news that the Ukrainians were training on Salisbury plain near the lost village of Imber so it hasn’t been kept a secret.
Ah yes the lost village of Imber.
Had a chance to go there once and didn’t take it
“it's only right if you say we have plenty of CR2s to send but then when asked how many you say you don't know and don't care it rather deflects from the good stuff you are relating - don't you think”
We are sending 12 tanks it would seem: one company.
I thought you were asking how many “might we able to send” and my answer to that is don’t know or care because a combination of countries will each do their bit.
By the way to clarify the only reason I asked is I know exactly how many Challengers we have and are sending but I'm not allowed to say on social media. I was wondering how Ich does and can. I'll leave it now, especially after a few mad people have joined in. Not interested.
I read your updates, Ich. Thank you. The Ukrainian ladies and children who joined our book shop knit and natter have left to join relatives in America. We do have some from the next village joining us soon.
We are amazed at how strong they are when they are receiving such dreadful news from home daily. Asked, they will say it's for the children. My heart just breaks for them. :-(
