Yet Another Brexit Disaster

Apparently thousand of postal packages per day are being returned from Ireland (to GB) for not having the required digital codes added to the package, allowing their tax status to be identified.

The EU rules (known as Customs 2020) are required on postal items arriving from outside the EU; these rules were first implemented by Ireland, but are due to come into force across the whole of the EU next month.

Although this will affect many private citizens sending items to family & friends - small businesses will be hit hardest with non-delivery of orders, ultimately with those in Europe seeking alternate suppliers (not from within GB).

Remember the Brexiteers telling us red-tape would be reduced following Brexit?

Perlease, change the record. If the EUSSR want to introduce a system that's their business why do you think it's somehow our fault?
Some might sat those soet of EU rules like that 2020 one are an example of why we chose to get out of that redtapeloving EU. ( for balance even though I voted Remain)
I can’t find anything when I Google ‘customs 2020’ which is relevant.
ZM: "I can’t find anything when I Google ‘customs 2020’ which is relevant. " - nooo!
It’s true, it’s true I tells ya!

I’m willing to bet most ABers are unaware that as of next month any packages they send to countries within the EU are likely to be returned – if you listen to the youtube video you will discover why. If we were still members of the EU we would have no such problems – that is why it is yet another Brexit disaster.

Anything they do so can we, so if true, any parcels from the EUSSR to UK will also bounce back. They can effect 1 nation we can effect 27 so it's a lot worse for them. Have you any evidence of this beyond the video from some EUSSR lackey?
Why do the 5C think the UK is helpless to react to EUSSR spite?
TTT 10,53 "so if true" " Oh ye of little faith."
,,,,Believe Hymie.... it is 100% true.,,,,,
Same old same old dave
We lost .move on
Who’s we? I didn’t vote, I didn’t lose anything.
Tell me what the winners won though? I want to compare it to what was promised.
If you scroll past the prices in this Royal Mail link, it tells folk and businesses about the options available to them.

Very helpful advice posted in this thread from Brexiteers, to those running a small business relying on exports to within the EU.
I sell a lot of car stuff on Ebay but I won't sell to the EUSSR because they are all a pain in the April. I've had Italians (they are the worst - they always claim they've not hjad ot then demand a refund, total nightmare) begging me to send them stuff.
So dave you didn't vote in the EU referendum. Well at least i did. I picked the losing side but at least I tried.
Why are you asking me to speak for the winners. The biggest loser is you....you lost your credibility by not voting and then harping on 6 years later about why she should of remained
