What with Harry's extraordinary attack on his brother and Meghan's take on Meghan being perfection personified, can the rift ever be healed?

Harry spoke quite wistfully, I thought, of his life with his family, an impression that didn’t diminish when he referred to his Californian residence as 'home sweet home' and said this is where he is meant to be, or words to that effect. Somehow I couldn't quite believe he meant it. It's all so very sad.

I wonder if Harry has inherited some of his mother's psychological difficulties (paranoia, possible lack of recognition of reality) and Meghan is feeding into that for her own agenda. Harry gives me the impression of being led by Meghan.

My increasing impression of Harry is that he is emotionally lost, mainly without a defined role for his future life, but also because he is emotionally immature.

The common bond he shares with Meaghan is their rather simplistic and fanciful notions of climate change and conservation, and he has clearly become besotted with her as the saviour and solver of all his problems.

I would not suggest that they don't love each other, but i wonder if it is the sort of genuine love that will survive their fall from grace, and the removal of the public platforms for the lectures they love to give about how wronged they are.

We shall see.

I am sure King Charles will always welcome his younger son back, for I believe he is a man to whom family is very dear. Looking at the photos of the RF at the Carol Concert was a picture of a united family having a joyous time of the festive season.

I haven't read the responses on here. When H and M (as they call themselves) first got married I gave them 5 years. They seem happy enough now though. I don't blame them for going to live in LA (because of the terrible weather in this country, if nothing else) Not sure what will happen when the honeymoon period wears off but who cares? Their life, their mistakes. Who cares?

I think it's not clear that this is not just about them or their claims. It goes much deeper than that. They are playing a dangerous game - but Harry doesn't realise it and is way out of his depth.
