What with Harry's extraordinary attack on his brother and Meghan's take on Meghan being perfection personified, can the rift ever be healed?

Harry spoke quite wistfully, I thought, of his life with his family, an impression that didn’t diminish when he referred to his Californian residence as 'home sweet home' and said this is where he is meant to be, or words to that effect. Somehow I couldn't quite believe he meant it. It's all so very sad.

It's the fault of the newspapers and their readers that we're being saturated, not H&M.

If people refused to read stories about them, then newspapers would simply turn elsewhere.

Sixty-five stories (Daily Mail) in 24 hours isn't covering the story, it's swamping their readers.

If England won the World Cup and your newspaper of choice dedicated the first thirty pages to the story, would you write, "Why are the England team swamping my paper?"

How many of us read newspapers these days. Just wondering. We haven't read a newspaper in years.
This is all playing out on Netflix, MissT

"Their titles were conferred upon them. As the wife of the Prince of Wales, Diana’s title was hers by right."

Interesting...so should Harry revert back to being Prince Harry. That was his title by birthright.

Thinking about it - haven't you got it the wrong way around? Diana was only a princess because she was married to a prince. It was conferred upon marriage.

Me neither..not since the Telegraph's crosswords went online. By 'newspapers' I'm referring to their digital presence!
> Can I just add that I don't base my remarks on media. I base them on what I have seen from Harry and Megan themselves

What ... in person?
MailOnline is one of the world's largest English speaking newspaper websites with more than 191.8 m global unique browsers.
P.S. I'm not one of them
No, on what I see on Netflix in the film they made.

Kim Kardashian has 64million Twitter followers so go figure.

I was about claim that numbers mean nothing until I found out who has the most in the world - so I'll withdraw!

;-)
That was to Ellipsis.
Oh OK, so before you watched the Netflix documentary, did you have an opinion on them?
To be honest I don't read much media news either. I watch the news on TV usually on BBC news that is on all day or Channel 4 in the evening.

SP, Harry will always be a prince. That is his birthright. Diana was a commoner. She only became a Princess because she married the Prince of Wales. Katherine wasn’t a Princess until Charles became King and William became Prince of Wales. She is now Princess of Wales.
Yes, I had an opinion but only really from TV news. But to be honest before Netflix it was all getting boring. I don't do social media. I have joined in some discussions on AB though. But don't count that! ;0))

So Harry should revert to his title of Prince Harry?

But wouldn't that then make Meghan Princess Meghan?

Surely that's even worse than the situation we have now. I think in most people's eyes, being a prince beats being a duke.
The point is that they're all the media. The news, Netflix, the papers ... all "media". Everything that you think you know about Harry, Meghan, and their relationship with the Royal Family, has been shaped by the media that you got it from. Unless you know them personally, that is.
Diana wasn't exactly a commoner she was a member of a the aristocracy her title being Lady Diana Spencer
No she wouldn't become a Princess just because she married a prince. Catherine wasn't a princess until Prince William became Prince of Wales.

SP, Meghan is not a Princess.

Ellipsis, they are all media but the stars of this Netflix offering are telling their story, as they see it, in their own words. There’s no journalist bashing a keyboard and writing whatever he thinks fit.
