Rather than Catholics vs. Prossies as in Celtic/Rangers or Liverpool/Everton what we have here is Catholics vs. Muslims, the one unifying thing between the Flemish and Wallies being their religion, this religious bloc extending over the northern border into the southern Cloggie-land, i.e. Maastricht up to Rotterdam. And so too the Muslim population as in north Brussels, Antwerp and up to Rotterdam, a recipe for a few tribal barnies.....

I think you are empowering the thugs with a deal more sophistication in terms of motivation that they actually possess.

as to naomi's comment, cricket has had its moments over the century, so too baseball and American football as well as ice-hockey. some of th American football violence atschool level is disgraceful with parents known to attack the opposite parents and even the players, wit an appalling one in California about 10 years ago.
