A recent poll of UK Expats living in the EU showed that 100% of those surveyed feel that it is pointless, rude and demeaning to continue to attempt to interfere and comment upon current UK Politics.

There is no requirement for me to provide a link, TTT - you should know that.

Me too, good one ( splutter)

Perseverer - the poll was a series of face-to-face interviews, conducted on the 30th and 31st of October 2022.
If you mean me and Dave, Perseverer I wasn't surveyed. I'm not a UK Expat.
Ex-pats have bailed out of the UK and should totally butt out of the running of the country.
Never-ending insults about our government from those ex-pats are pathetic and get on my nerves.
It is up to the people who still live in and support the UK to comment on and insult their own govt.

I hope all is well in Eire and that mad woman of yours is under control and behaving. ☺♥
bang on wolf, they have forsaken their country so why are they interested anyway?....unless...
AB seems to have had posts in the last few days on Brazil, Korea, the US and of course Ukraine. Time to shut up on all these, I think. Nobody wants to hear your opinion on US gun laws, or Russian ones for that matter.
ex pats leave the country for all kinds of reasons... those with strong opinions about their homeland are as entitled to express them as anyone else and it is rather insular and small-minded to think otherwise
untitled: "... those with strong opinions about their homeland are as entitled to express them as anyone else...." - yes but with much less credibility.
the idea that someone "foresakes" a country by moving out of it is frankly stupid :)
why should anyone need to meet your foolish standards of credibility in order to express an opinion? if the opinions of an expat are wrong then why can't you just demonstrate it without demeaning them?

i think you're just seizing on any reason possible to treat someone like crap
Anyone can comment on anything they like. You wouldn't have an issue with it if you agreed with what they were saying.
It would be palatable if the expats weren’t derogatory about the homeland that provided them a pension to spend where they choose to live
'Derogatory' doesn't mean 'tell the truth, especially about recent goings-on and other shambolica' though.
Bobbi
... does that mean I can't be derogatory about the US of A
????
I forgot a ;)
