me likewise.
Any organisation with the word 'think' in the title would surely be a bar to Truss.
she's definitely listed as being among thier parliamentary supporters...

she's the editor of 'Britannia Unchained'... a looney Tory manifesto that supports many ideas like this..

there exists a group of tories who have never forgiven the UK for introducing the NHS in the first place. They hate it. more moderate tory leaders have made their peace with the idea ever since they figured out how to extract public money from it.
I did read it yesterday after it was posted on TikTok. Not widely known yet in the mainstream media but will become a point of note come the GE no doubt.
I didn't know this, but something has, really has to be done about the NHS. So I'm glad she's concerned enough to be considering it. I'd be OK with a system similar to the French one (i.e. c. 70% covered by lower NI subs.) but with the top-up tailored to suit lower UK pensions and allowances. There is an emergency cover available for those really unable to work or pay. Full private system - a firm NO.
Well 8f she's daft enough to try it then look forward to decades of Labour government and maybe horrible coalitions.
IF...
The party that privatises the NHS will br committing political suicide. It will
never recover.
I looked up the 1828 website expecting them to be away with the fairies.

I was a bit disappointed that they are not that looney. OK their NHS plans are bonkers, but, some of the other articles are interesting.
