What is wrong with this woman? Her son had the best free NHS care possible, care which she says wasn’t good enough, poor little Archie has now gone, and now she wants a public enquiry. Of course I feel sorry for her but she has really gone too far. She should be grateful she didn’t have to pay for something that was self inflicted. Rant over.

Archie is at peace, only read a bit of the link, not that interest .
** interested .
I'm not naomi.
In all the posts on AB I have not seen one where a poster has not felt sorry for Archie nor for a mother losing her son. Indeed there has been much support for the mother in lodging appeals not to have the life support system withdrawn.

There have been many short videos in the press of the mother talking to reporters including some of which where she had taken the hospital to task as well as the State. I believe her denunciation of the hospital has, in many eyes, been the last straw. I admit that certain press coverage has enjoyed fanning the flames.

However, one lesson the mother should learn from all of this, in due course, is that the internet and media can work for you and against you. The link posted at 16:04 shows, if true, some dreadful examples of the life style surrounding Archie.

There have been many replies on this thread to vindicate smurfchops' posting which I hope she will find supportive.

Thanks again choux. Glad I have some ABers agreeing with me. Poor little lad.
I have no opinion re the posting of the link.
Hello, smurfchops. Every one on AB has the right to post (within the rules, of course). The essence of AB, imo, is to read, consider and post honestly. Those who oppose any OP are fully entitled to say so and that is just what happened here.
Though we may often want to see things in black and white, I've no doubt that while having a possibly dodgy history and questionable lifestyle, a mother can and will go to the ends of the earth for her child. Most often far enough...other times too far.
