Of course it will, if he has any.
Americans are [surely] not going to accept an attack upon their seat of government and let it go as if nothing happened. Footsoldiers and generals ... so far only individual footsoldiers have been prosecuted, but they were organised somehow and the evidence for that organisation is still being gathered. If Trump had a role in rallying the mob, it needs to be shown and dealt with in law.
And to a casual outside observer like me, it seems pretty obvious that he had a role in rallying the mob. You only have to look at everything he said, and everything the mob was carrying ... but let's see what their legal process decides.
