can I join in - - my muzza - was born in Bombay and tolerated around 50y of the open mouthed ( oh a lot of ABers down in Dorset then) asking "then why arent you brown?"

Oh and, (this is very very hard) someone came up to me and said - "oh I heard you were Anglo-indian" and I said, "no my grandfather was British Raj." and yeah the person asking was...... anglo indian
eek ! (big thing, mixed race and so unpopular with both groups, that they had reserved jobs on the railways. - genealogical centre, Nagpur, should anyone be interested)
