Düring Brexit negotiations Boris Johnson promised to abide by the Good Friday Agreement but as usual. This promise was soon forgotten. How can the Problems in Connection with trade between N. Ireland and UK be solved to satisfaction of UK, EU and N. Ireland?

how has the GFA been contravened?
For starters get a real pm who reads the agreement he is signing ....not a Conservative plllock like Johnson.
Just remove all restrictions between Britain and NI. See what the EU (sless) bar stewards do.
How could the UK remove EU restrictions?
who's talking about the EU?
There should be no difference trading between England (etc.) and NI than there is about trading between England and Wales.

If the EU want to set up a trade barrier between NI & the Republic of Ireland so be it.
You probably mean GB and NI

And passage of goods not “trade”
^^^^^^^^ yes that's what I meant (thanks for the unnecessary correction!)
Forgetting one teeny tiny thing, which is that the UK signed an agreement with the EU, binding in international law, that created and maintains the current situation. One might wonder why we signed that agreement if it was obviously so idiotic ... just a reminder, it was the current regime under Boris Johnson that negotiated and signed the agreement, not the previous regime under Theresa May.

Wherever you put the border there's a problem, and that is the problem ...
“yes that's what I meant (thanks for the unnecessary correction!)”

It was the OP I was querying :-)
The only thing that solves this is a single market for goods. Boris Johnson signed up to something he either didn’t understand or didn’t intend to honour.
I’d have more respect for the govt’ position if they’d at least acknowledge their part in this state of affairs.
Actually the NI protocol is not the disaster some claim: this is more political than anything
We can stay out of the EU but still join the Single Market by rejoining the European Economic area. Switzerland, Norway, Iceland all do this and get all the trade benefits, without being in the EU.
The the extremists in the Government are against anything with Europe in the title, even the European Space Agency which has *** all to do with the EU.
The proposed ‘lanes’ seem sensible to me. I can’t see why the EU has a problem with it - apart from they’re bloody-minded and determined to be awkward just as they always have been.
Apparently, according to Davebro, no one's talking about the EU, Naomi. Shhhhh.
We’re not? What do you think we’re talking about, Dave?
We're negotiating ... with ourselves.
The lanes are no different as to what is there at the moment except now it’s called at risk/not at risk!
RH, as I understand it they’re different insofar as the green lane would carry goods destined only for Northern Ireland and therefore of no interest to the EU, whilst the Red lane would carry goods destined for the EU and therefore legitimately subject to checks.
The EU should have no influence whatsoever over trade between different parts of the UK. If that means they will make the RoI create a border let them go to it.
Spot on Davebro^^. If we try to sneak a Cumberland sausage into N.I. the remaniacs and the EEyoo go mental. But we are supposed to ignore it when the French are sneaking 300 illegal immigrants into Dover every day.
