From the above link ::::: "The Daily Telegraph said he recently met Sri Lankan officials to discuss the possibility of post-Brexit trade deals with the south Asian country"

I am at a loss to understand how anyone could spend £100,000 on a 2 weeks holiday anywhere, let alone Sri Lanka. But if he did, why did Sri Lankan pay for it ?

Also, can someone explain what there would be to discuss, between Belfast and Sri Lanka, in a "post-Brexit trade deal" ?

Paying for a visit to discuss business and make contacts ? Ok maybe I should read further, but I'd have thought it'd be difficult to prove it was a bribe.
I'll give you that the bill seems excessive though.

OG....yes, you are right...its only an alleged bribe at present.

But its difficult to understand why Paisley would want to take his whole family on what is being called a business trip ?
He did inherit his daddy's parliamentary seat. It must be difficult for people like him to shrug off the tentacles of nepotism that they've become used to.
