And then realised it, after watching for 6 minutes.

When we first got Internet at work in the early noughties many of the blokes used to look up inappropriate stuff and email images around for a laugh. This was then banned and I'm sure someone was dismissed for doing it after that. Then certain sites were blocked. But this was obviously work IT which is monitored heavily.

Anyway, as far as I'm concerned there is a time and place for looking up what he did and the H of C isn't it.
Not everyone who lies to parliament resigns or thinks he should.

Just saying …
Anyway, I agree with Sqad about that
I caught the HR Director at one place I worked at. I'd just installed Sophos and was running through the reports and there it was. 3 times in one day!

I just had a word in his shell like and told him we could easily see where the traffic went.
My first thought was ‘dirty old devil’, the second ‘what an idiot’. That said, he hasn’t committed a crime so the embarrassment he’s caused to himself and his family is probably punishment enough. Silly man.
If i watched porn while working, i doubt the wallpaper would be hung straight :-J
Sqad - // Can't we put this to bed, the majority of men have watched porn either in the past or are still watching it.
Porn is exciting and erotic......at least for a time.

Lectures, presentatations and speeches may be boring.

Smack his wrist and move on. //

No-one would dispute that men watch pornography on computers, that is not the issue.

The fact that a serving MP thinks it is OK to while away a boring debate while watching it on his phone, is very much the issue.

It speaks to his complete absence of judgement, to say nothing of self-awareness, to think even for a moment that his behaviour is acceptable.

And that is why he had to go, and obviously sufficient pressure has been put on to override his initial continuance of his lack of awareness, to assume that he could carry on being an MP for even one more day.

Please see my previous post to Sqad - this is about awareness and judgement, and he clearly has neither, and is not fit to be an MP.
AH, why are you telling me to read your posts? I’ve read them and I’ve given my own opinion.
I heard him on R4 about an hour ago. He kept saying he was wrong, he admitted everything (first time by mistake and second on purpose), said it was a moment of madness. Didn't try to deny anything and threw his hands up yet the interviewer banged on and on asking why, didn't he know it was wrong etc. The guy had already admitted it all.

It makes me think some would rather he'd denied it all just so the press and public could carry on ripping into him.
None holier than the holier than thou, Prudie.
I don't really care what he was watching - you should concentrate on work and not be messing around on your mobile phone.
Not sure how he came to find pornography after looking for tractors?
Although there is one manufacturer called Bull Power so I suppose it is an easy mistake to make, right?
^ Maybe he was looking for something with two massive inflatables than messes around in mud.
Looking for the 'Getting Down And Dirty' section in the Farmer's Weekly.
I know someone who was researching witchcraft. She typed ‘black magic’ into google and was presented with an assortment of naked black men. :o)
^ Do you know the name of the site? (asking for a friend)
In the last couple of years there was a repeated ad for a forthcoming comedy series featuring a blonde woman in her 30s, not unattractive but seemed to have a deformed mouth, it was permanently squiffy and at an odd angle. I can't remember her name nor of the series but letter R rings a bell. Anyway being nosey I looked her up on the Internet and was taken straight into a huge porn site....
Haaaa! No. I wrote it down but lost it. Drat!! :o)
Haaaa! A permanently squiffy mouth at an odd angle? The mind boggles - and in her case the mind probably wasn’t the only thing boggling!
Instead of watching porn - he could have threatened to throw acid in someone's face, got away scot-free and still be serving in the HoP instead of resigning.

Perspective people. Watching porn is hardly a crime, inappropriate yes, but not a crime.
