Okay to the car but it did border on assault when the farmer turned his tractor on the bozo.....
I thought the same, DTC, especially as he was no longer in his castle. He appeared to be assaulting (and battering) someone on the highway with heavy machinery. The view isn't clear, however; it may have been accidental.
I think most of us can see the farmer's point of view, but it has to be risky, destroying someone's car outside your own front gate.
