We may not know the "truth" but we can have a good guess. Especially when "MI6, or their colleagues go public, as they have more than once recently

A shrug of the shoulders and a hint of mystery: all plays into the hands of someone like Putin.
That's also a sensible tactic by the West: these revelations help to put something tangible in the middle of his smoke and mirrors game
