I don't think abortion 'belongs' anywhere, please don't try and put words in my mouth.
I think it is a dreadful situation for any woman to find herself in - but not as dreadful as having her right of choice taken away from her by overly-moral strangers who think they have the right to impose their views on other people.

not really 1ozzy, there are supposed to be 300 million people or so in USA and there is a gun for every one of those people. crazy.//
no that is switzerland and the citizen army and a low death rate.
Of course not EVERYONE has a rifle in the US even tho the av is one. Many dont own nutting which means that if you own one you are likely to own more.

Good to see this 'uncomfortable' subject of abortion being discussed, and people should be made aware of the scale of the abortion issue:

Too many people use abortion like contraception. Killing a baby is abhorrent -it's not the baby's fault even if it is conceived through rape or incest. If a woman is assaulted, she does not cut off her arm because it was broken by the person who assaulted her, she puts up with the injury until it heals. Babies should be allowed life and adopted if the mother wants nothing to do with them.
Auntpg So you are saying that a woman who has been raped has to live with the memory of that every day that she is carrying that baby and give birth. That a woman should deliver a Rubella baby who could be blind, deaf have heart problems and severe mental impairment. That a baby should be born with part of its brain missing. Would you be capable of caring for these babies. Some anomalies are not seen until the 12 week scan. Should a woman have to give birth only for the child to die almost immediately or suffer from its disabilities

That's where your utterly laughable analogy collapses under the sheer weight of its own stupidity.
Babies are not 'broken bones', they don't 'heal'.
They live and they grow and they become part of a mother's life for the rest of her life, however long that may be.
And whether you accept that or not from your ivory tower constructed entirely of bone-hard moral superiority, some women are simply not able to deal with a commitment like that, for a vast number of reasons, every single one of which is unique to her.
You do your gender a diservice to come up with such a dreadfully inappropriate comparison of breaking a bone to giving birth to a child.
