The only "shelf" empty for my most recent Tesco shop online was frozen veg. No peas, carrots, beans, broccoli, cauli, spinach or mixed veg.
I didn't phone to ask the reason as they wouldn't have been able to do anything & knowing wouldn't have helped me anyway. Heigh-ho, smaller portions of what I've got in will suffice.
All you have to do is to move here to Ontario; there are no shortages at all...Now hold on, just a cotton pickin' minute, belay that suggestion...Stay where you are:)
My Tesco were very short of cat food, the only chicken breasts they had were a few packs of frozen ones, no whole chickens and no ceam crackers? Plenty of bin liners of all kinds.
I couldn't get tonic water a few weeks ago but everything else seems in plentiful supply. I haven't been to a supermarket for a long time so can only go by my delivery orders.
There are lovely wee (not too wee) small shops on say the Lisburn Road and they were delivering absolutely beautiful vegetables like for soup etc. There are plenty of food in the small shops - come on - give them a go.
Last week - Another guy was delivering meat products (on another road) from Co Monaghan to Belfast. I'm coming out of the restaurant and said to him - your bacon is really lovely in there. He said to me "hold on - went back into the lorry and gave me a present of two big packets of that lovely bacon). Isn't that nice.
