probably not, but i guess they are still being cautious.
Probably 10000 extra cases of Covid at least, that's all....Look at the impact of Scotland-England on the Scots with their heathen sorties on London - a tad short of two thousand extra cases apparently...
So is it not on tv?
its on tv, big screens all over the place and those lucky enough to have tickets
i hope that once these restrictions are lifted we can bin these horrible masks, or at least stash them someplace.
Have you not seen the news clips of people celebrating in pubs and bars? There’s zero social distancing going on.
I will be wearing the mask because to me it’s like throwing the oars out off the rowing boat a mile from land .Don’t think Boris should be telling people they don’t have to look after their and others safety .
Boris (nor anyone else) has said any such thing.
Part of easing on july 19 th I think it said so you agree then Zacs
I'd sooner watch at home. No chance of getting drenched in ale and have some oik swing round one's neck.
Totally agree with Zacs. Theres loads of places to sit (outdoors) with a pint or four and watch the match
I'm not a fan of football, but appreciate that there are those who are fanatic about it.

I don't think we should ease restrictions early, to allow people to watch it en masse at pubs, any more than we should for tennis, cricket or rugby.

froo tooda - - - write english please, this is AB - we have standards !

increases national morale in a measurable way ( morale meter or sumfing ) if 1967 is to go by etc
o the restrictions will go
and the covid cases will rise dramatically even tho they are sky high

scientists out there? how can we have the highest vacc rate and also more cases than the whole of the EU ?

dont vacc and you wont get it - is clearly NOT the right conclusion ( xc to the usual crayzies on AB - you KNOW who you are)
As it should have been done weeks ago I would have no problem with it. Its time to move on. anyone that want to cower behind the sofa fine, carry on but dont dictate to others.

Mind you I wouldn't go as I am of the same opinion as Ken. Plus I refuse to watch kneelers anyway.
Good luck anyone trying to impose restrictions on anyone celebrating a possible victory on Sunday :-)
I think nature will take its course.
The government will simply look the other way. No need for anything else
dave - // I mean, what difference will a week make? None. //

I think in terms of the vaccination programme, a week will make a considerable difference.

If you look at the stats for the number of people who can receive a first or second jab over the period of a week, it makes that time vital to continue to protect as many people as possible.
Ho-hum.....
//I think in terms of the vaccination programme, a week will make a considerable difference.//

Nonsense. The 'vaccines' dont stop you getting it they just make the body able to cope with it. Since most people receiving vaccinations are in the age groups that the body can cope with Covid anyway I dont really see the justification of your statement.
Peter Pedant @09.04, "How can we have the highest vaccination rate and more covid cases than the whole of the EU ?"..... Ask Boris.
