morning everyone, i hope you are well, and that you have a good day, its not looking too bright at the moment, the forecast predicts more showers, ok for the gardeners, not so good to go out in perhaps.

Morning. I was in bed early last night with a hot water bottle (abdominal pains and just feeling generally queasy) and so consequently I woke early. OH the poor thing was laying the underfloor heating until 11pm. I didn't hear him come to bed. Screeding chappie is coming at 8am. I'll have to go out front door and through garage if I want to get to the fridge.

I've just told him that when all this is done we need a honeymoon. He asked where I wanted to go. Suggestions on a postcard please...

Lcg, waking up 4/5 times in the night from peculiar dreams,
gave up at 4 and came in here, have been dozing for a bit but chores to do so washing is on, that will take a while, apart from that im ok.
i could always have 30 minutes nap later on, depends on what the weather does. If it were nice i would pop round to the local gardens and enjoy that, but think the weather isn't going to be good.

that would be lovely for you to get away, somewhere sunny and warm,
Portugal seems to be the only place at the minute where one can go with no quarantine when you get home. Personally i would fly to one of the Greek Islands and get some sun there.

It's good if you can get time later for a little nap.

i spent a month travelling around Athens and the Islands, glorious trip.

i would go there if i could, but health doesn't permit me to travel far.

Morning all, a mixed bag out there on the weather front, the clouds moving quickly from a WNW direction, rain expected at lunch time for the afternoon....A heady max of 12C, at 10 am and then downhill....feels like 8C - luverely.....

shame isn't it, its trying to brighten up a bit, but still lots of clouds, oh for some sun, then i could partake of some outdoor lunch.
any plans for the day?

No real plans here....admin work, I guess.....some other proofing work to be done.

i guess one can go out, but i hate getting wet.

Yes - I could go out too but just about okay here - more like Thursday then as tomorrow evening my youngest sister is in town visiting so there'll be a pub outing involved - to one I have never tried before.

sounds good. i usually meet with friends at the weekend, so probably won't do much till then - unless a miracle occurs and we have some sun shine.

the B-Holiday weekend is looking okay here at the moment sunny periods, no rain but only 16C feels like 11 predicted....where's the heat?

the heat seems to have disappeared. we aren't going to have a good spring/summer if this carries on
