Yeah stayed for two nights June 2019 a nice busily town can be expensive & crowded depends what you want to do there great for walkers.

Will just be more or less passing through, but may need to go round the outskirts if the roads are narrow.
We visited and enjoyed the town, especially the area around by the theatre , the dam and the salmon ladder.
Have you tried to drive into Scotland yet? Its not allowed yet is it?
sounds like she's in the planning stages bobbin
26th April apparently, but I’m pretty sure teacake is well aware of that, and as bednobs says, is just planning the route.
Unless your motorhome is one of those ginormous ones I’m pretty confident you’ll be able to get through any and all roads you encounter, anywhere.
You’re so going to enjoy your trips :o)
Okay thanks. Am wondering because we've been hoping for ages to go but still cant see when we'er going to be allowed. Complicated by rules for leaving Wales and then passing from England to Scotland. Looks to me like May or June
Yes
Sounds good. Avoids the issue of staying in other peoples homes overnight or finding hotels. I've not seen the date confirmed for being allowed in but 26 April sounds good for us for a short trip if we will be allowed in but we'er not sure if hotels are open overnight stays then
Travel from wales to the rest of the uk and Ireland is from 12th April, as far as I can determine.
Tourist accommodation is expected to open in Scotland on 26 April (subject to confirmation)
>Travel from wales to the rest of the uk and Ireland is from 12th April, as far as I can determine.

But when i checked it said I still couldnt travel into Scotland on that date?

Does anyone have a link please

Thanks for the link Toorak but it still seems unclear about when they'll allow travel IN to Scotland. It refers to within Scotland. Maybe its Juen 9approx) when its level one.
It shouldnt be this complicated, we'er all UK
I went there in 1966 but don't remember much except the dam and salmon ladder were impressive.
That Scottish government document should put paid once and for all to the tales of control freak micro management from Ya Beaut Hoose.
