i was reading this on BBC news, good thing too,
Glad they have been found.
i wonder if the person came forward, or is ill with the virus..

Me too, I think their only misdemeanour was possibly not filling the form in correctly, leaving an address off
Let's just hope he hasn't been in contact with too many others while they have been looking for him :-(
Question Author
Yes hopefully but if he/ she was unaware of what they did, they undoubtedly will of Ken
not to mention the planeload of passengers.
Good news.
Good news that they have been found, hope they get the £500 fine. I find it hard to believe that leaving off their address can be done by accident.
The powers that be seem reluctant to identify the carrier. Why? If the person is identified people would have a chance of knowing if they have had contact.

Got it in 1 Togo, I agree

According to Matt Hancock just now, the person stayed in and isolated which begs the question if they knew they had to do that then why not of come forward straight away ?
as i mentioned what about the passengers on the flight, one hopes they haven't got covid.
And the TV reporter on today’s briefing could only come out with this being an example of a failed track and trace system. Give me strength.

But this was the offence which that nice Mr Hancock said was going to be dealt with by way of a ten year prison sentence. I wonder when the miscreant will be up before the Beak:

The missing Brazilian bearer is resident in Croydon. A close shave for Bromley. A bit tidy down there and a very desirable place to be.
P.S. The carrier was not caught by the fuzz, who do tend to beat about the bush.
The ten year sentence was for people who avoided hotel quarantine. This person travelled before that.

har har - but does anyone think they should try to recover ( pun geddit ? ) the cost of tracking him down? no addressee no bank balancee sort of thing ...
// as i mentioned what about the passengers on the flight, one hopes they haven't got covid.//

as i mentioned before this doesnt seem to be a problem about the passengers on the flight,
" In April 1994, a passenger with infectious multidrug-resistant tuberculosis traveled on commercial-airline flights ....."

the passengers donutting the index patient converted and no one else did ....efficient dry air con it seems

( lucky no one reads what I write and I can just paste and repeat at monthly intervals)
