I am not a Scot but I think he might be right.....once the ship is no longer sinking then people can re arrange the deckchairs if they want to.
That may be a wish, rather than a fact - but that's nothing new in political soundbites.

I never knew until I visited Scotland, just how much of a foreign country it actually is - Westminster might as well be Mars for how relevent it feels in Edinburgh.

That may be what fuels Mrs Sturgeon's obsession with separation - either that or she's got Braveheart on a loop on her desktop!!
It's certainly an irrelevance in the circles I move in.

A couple of friends have been hooked but they've always been regarded as a bit 'special'. :-)

Personally I wish they could have the independence, it would be interesting to see how or if the EU would welcome them in
Bravetart?
Is it an irrelevance to most people? I wonder how many Scots would welcome another referendum on independence?
Well, I certainly don't want another referendum. So divisive.
Don't tell Brenda from Bristol, poor lady.
At present the English pay for the benefits scroungers up here.Once us Scots get independence, who the heck is Sturgeon going to scrounge money off of to keep the workshy happy?Even if we rejoin the EU,i cant see France or Germany happy to subsidise us.They had a big enough problem with Greece.
