Yes despair! But its not just their behaviour, it is the loss of freedom for us all and seeing plod turning is into a police state.
History repeating itself.
It’s a bit more serious than Sunday Lunches in the Netherlands
Covid: Dutch curfew riots rage for third night https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-55799919
Gosh, just watching the news re Holland, they don't mess around there, do they ?
Riots here next.
Another crack in society.
look at all the people out on sunday when it snowed, Primrose Hill was packed full of people, no care for themselves, or was it allowed, who knows
yes out of order but not as bad as the nx100 people raves that plod keeps raiding. Sadly, If more proof were needed, this shows we are infested with morons.
People's innate lack of thought for themselves and others never fails to amaze me, what's wrong with a supermarket ready meal? Marks & Sparks are comparable to freshly cooked.
What difference do you think it makes to the 'pandemic' how far people travel for dinner, doubtful, or milk or work or any other reason?
there was some eejit on here the other day asking why they should have the vaccine if they were asymptomatic! You couldn't make it up!
spice, per person, not much but collectively, if we all did then the effect of the lockdown is reduced.
"spice, per person, not much but collectively, if we all did then the effect of the lockdown is reduced."

Indeed. Why, in the early days some people thought nothing of jumping in their car to 'rescue' students from university.
^^^^ seconded
I suppose. (if you believe lockdowns work)
And, yes, I accept the majority on AB and probably the country do.
was to slow to get below TTT ( ooh Matron)
A think in the scheme of things its a minor breach as as spicerack says the risks are low (maybe stopping for petrol and coffees on the way or risking a breakdown needing RAC) , altho a still think long trips should be discouraged - people should only venture out for absolute essentials but maybe just a warning.
Its silly tho for people to talk about it being a police state. Its nothing like that. We do need more people to be stopped- the roads are busy and loads of people are driving to meet up outside coffee shops or walk there dogs together making some narrow canal paths and pavements congested. Yesterday we had to walk in a busy road to get past a group of around 6 with children chatting blocking the pavement chatting.
And Theland gives me the impression he'd like some riot's here the number of times he mentions it
They are idiots and deserve to be punished but in the long the pandemic will die out naturally regardless of where people go for lunch
Yes in the long run ickeria, but while 1000 a day are dying and hospitals are so stretched we need to do everything to slow it down NOW
its just got faster it seems, raging across country, no matter the two that were caught supposedly breaking the law.
We do, which is why we have rules and why these folk are wrong.
The pandemic, I repeat though. can only be controlled to a limited extent. It effectively controls us I’m afraid. We can reduce that effect but it’s a slow process
