One of my daughters sent me this, I've had a good laugh at it so thought I'd pass it on. I particularly liked the Boris and Dominic Cummings bits.

Enjoy

Wonferful. Really made me laugh out loud. Thank you.
actually most of the war song were of hope, going home, and we'll meet again, upbeat mostly....
like Who Do You Think You Are Kidding, Mr Covid?

i did say mostly, there must have been some rude songs sung about Hitler...
The opening song to Dad's Army, emmie, sung by Bud Flanagan.
i know, but its not really a rude song is it... who are you kidding Mr Hitler etc, hardly a hand grenade.
Excellent! Cheers for that, 158 :-))
// The opening song to Dad's Army, emmie, sung by Bud Flanagan. //

the Dad's Army theme was written at the time the series was created in 1968. it was Bud Flanagan's last ever recording, he died in 1969.

Well, a lot of people liked it. I'm sorry it didn't please everybody but, vaccine or no vaccine, covid is here to stay and if we can't laugh in the face of it we're for a very sad 'rest of our lives'
