No.
I know little about either, but have heard more of the latter. I guess the answer hinges on one's definition of "terrorist".
"A person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims." OED

A fair definition O_G
You might say that but when it comes to definitions, opinions divide. One person's terrorist is another's freedom fighter. Is the cause just, does the ends justify the means, how many must feel terror before the cause is deemed a terrorist ?
That is a value judgement O_G, which the OED's is not.
well you have to agree on a definition
o god why do I even try to answer this sort of thing?

the UK definition is somewhere here

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Definition_of_terrorism#:~:text=oppression%20or%20threat.%22-,United%20Kingdom,section%20of%20the%20public%20and

Oh god I have lost the will to live
I think I might go and fall on a terrorist's sword or something... Bring back brexit ( - - - threads)
or impale myself on a burning cross .....
No.
No, I don't agree. Thousands of brave men were anti-fascist 1939-1945, many of whom gave their lives in support of that cause.

To align them with the KKK is a deplorable smear on these true heroes.
The judgement (subjective opinion) is important, plus it's not all judgement.

From PP's link... "There is no universal agreement on the definition of terrorism"
Question Author
