TTT used to argue that there was nothing wrong with speeding if you were a really good driver. Same here: it's okay to break the law if you're a really exceptional country.
jno; "TTT used to argue that there was nothing wrong with speeding if you were a really good driver." - never said or believed that me old china, evidence or apology please, I will not let this go.
well, I could do a search for it, but I'll need a list of your former usernames; please provide, and I'll go ahead.
I have never ever thought that or said it, withdraw and apologise NOW!

you asked for evidence and I will have to look for it. I don't make things up.
jno; "I don't make things up. " - show me then? I suspect this is your usaul thing of making assumptions based on other things people say. You my son are a disgrace.
I suspect this goes back to something I said like: speeding is rarely the cause of accidents but a factor in the outcome. You have long night ahead me old china. I'll accept your retraction and apology now.

Hopefully the Editor will reply later (to the other thread), but I'm surprised how aggressive you're getting. Anger at a false accusation I get; threatening legal action? Seems OTT.

I'd also encourage you not to go for the "I will track you down" approach. To what end, anyway?
jno: "since you are posting under a pseudonym and nobody knows who you are, you may have been insulted but you can't be libelled. You have demanded evidence; I will do my best to find it. " - AB is then deemed to be libelling, they will have to back up what you said or expose you, my money is on the latter. Apology and retraction, NOW!

How petty is this.....in fact, it's pathetic.
libel is something that lowers a person's reputation. If nobody knows who the person is, his reputation can't be lowered. Hence the problem with you using a pseudonym.

I do apologise to ichkeria for the hijacking of his thread, though.
I don't think the Ed team is around outside normal working hours, probably a mod closed it.

I'm sorry you're so angry at jno -- I would advise you to just take a short break from the site to cool down. The worst that can possibly happened as a result of this is that people who don't know you at all think a little less of you because of your attitude to a relatively minor crime.
I know who 3T is and his location. I am happy to confirm this with a legal representative.
we are all using a pseudonym, show some guts (yeah I know) apoligise and retract now. I trust you haven't found the example to which you are referring.

" - just asking for evidence jim.
