havent read it

he doesnt want a covid enquiry
with wh I wd agree -
what is done is done ( actually what was not done was left out etc)
and unlike Nicola S -
realises he has a country er to run

why did he agree to meet with them in the first place...

Possibly in order to move the interviewer away from the subject, Emmie?
Don't you know by now, what Boris says and does is erratic and sloppy. He'd make a convincing after dinner speaker, that's it. Thinking about it that's what they all end up doing.
it was a foolish thing to do, no amount of talk by the PM will bring back their loved ones, yet he is getting the blame.
Do not try to open the link at 10.44. It is not secure.
He's avoiding what's clearly intended to be a confrontational meeting, emmie, and rightly so. They want to meet him to demand an independent inquiry - which he's already pledged to hold.
This is a safe link. Note the section "Information for Families".

this pandemic has led to untold deaths, how can that be the fault of one man? i know his popularity has waned somewhat but i don't see what else they could have done.
Can't get that one to open either.
That one man makes the final decision.
The letters in question are all here under Find Out More on the website, letters to B.J., The Government Legal Department, The Dept. Of Health and Social Care, and to 10 Downing St are all there. I make that 4 not 5. Now I know that bojo "puts himself about a bit" but come on does he open the mail in all those places?

surely its a cabinet decision....
Haha the letter to Boris was an invitation to sign a petition for an urgent inquiry into himself.

Please find attached a petition urging an immediate Public Inquiry submitted on behalf of the
COVID-19 Bereaved Families for Justice UK, a group of more than 450 bereaved whom we
represent.
The group would strongly hope to be able to discuss this with the Government before a decision
is made in relation to their request. Would it be possible for a remote meeting to take place
week commencing 15 June 2020?
If not, we would hope to hear from you with a full response by the end of next week, by 19
June 2020.
Thank you for your kind attention.
Yours sincerely

Looking deeper it seems that this group is likely to take legal action. Therefore any wise lawyer would advise against speaking to them, hence the refer you correspondence via the legal lot.

Cabinet discussion, then a decision.
As I'm not able to get the link to open, which letter mentions compensation?
The "letters" are an obvious sow the seeds of malcontent ploy much favoured by the sort of "legal practice" that is representing, nay organising, this group of chancers. The legal practice in question being ta dah Broudie Jackson Canter. "Specialist" yoo man rites lawyers who edven admit that they concentrate on " Areas of work: - Actions Against the Police - Civil Liberties - Crime and Prison Law - Family Law - Housing - Immigration - Mental Health - Welfare rights."

The sort of organisation that continues to cause more harm to Britain than Hitler did. Now complaining that Boris will not meet them. Would You. Did they announce themselves as the likely hosts for a meeting when the sent the "invite" via a "press reporter"? Wonder who provided the reporter. Answers on a pin head to....

Quite Togo, hence why BoJo has been told not to speak to them.

Wont stop the lefties like Allen making something out of it though. Good job the PM isnt a woman or he would be having a field day.
