Sure is Sandy. We are about to be hit by Storm Ellen which itself is the remains of a severe Tropical Storm Kyle which has caused widespread damage in the States and Caribbean.

To answer the question properly Sandy....it is not exactly the tail end of a Hurricane, but the "Tropical Storm" that has spawned the rain and wind we are having, with much more to come, is described as a Tempest on most sites. Great word Tempest.
Well I'm in the North East Bobbi and its hissing it down -has been since about 3pm. I'd batten down yer hatches pet if I were you :-)
