I see both the Blonde Blunderers have now admitted they got it wrong with Covid-19, costing thousands of lives.

Time to resign chaps.

That’s not going to happen. But anyway, is there anyone in the Tory party who might do better?
Let’s have an election and bring Keir Starmer in.
Yawn!
As usual, no link to the story.
// Let’s have an election //

how would you hold a "covid secure" election?
Jo, having an election would not be a win for the Labour Party, hence no Keith Starmer.
Admitting the government got it wrong with some aspects of Covid is not an admission of failure, nor could they reasonably be expected to have behaved any differently.

This is an unprecedented situation - no-one could know what would happen or when, so mistakes seen with hindsight are inevitable, no matter who was in charge.
Well said Cloverjo
Dream on Diddly.
Assuming you know their names as well as their hair colour then they are more likely to see your instruction in a letter.
wrong thread, Mamy?
No.

Telling someone to resign on here makes the assumption they will read it.
How easy it is to take shots at any government and their handling of the pandemic when there is nothing to which it can be compared.
Some were criticising the government for not accepting they were behind the game on certain things. It's usually the same people who then criticise them for saying there may have been things with hindsight could have been done better.
Canary, if you can show me a post from February where you were demanding lockdown then I'll say perhaps you were right. But I doubt you were wise before the event
I agree : boring and unfair.
And this from a Labour supporter
IF the UK held a general election now , Sir Kier Starmer would sweep the Tories right out of power. Easy, no problem whatsoever

Stop it , my sides are splitting with laughter.
Sorry if my answer gave a radicalised right supporter pain.
No doubt about it .Keir Starmer would have managed the Covid situation far better than Boris has. Keir is a very clever politician , Where Boris is still an incompetent Etonian school boy playing games, and dreaming of grandeur and fame. Whilst trying to model himself on Winston Churchill.
Steer Calmer..lol, lets wait and see the true figures which i'm pretty sure are a lot lot less.
