What exactly do you think was wrong with it? It could have said black, yellow brown, pink, purple etc etc but because it said "white" then people have taken offence, why?. White lives do matter, all lives do

If I’m right in thinking Burnley has a large BAME population and it looks as though Burnley FC are bowing to that
// BLM are a hard left anarchist movement ken, they dont care about the lives of all Black people only the ones who think they can take power rather than earn it like the majority of hard working black people. //

BLM are quite upfront about that - from their own "publicity":-
"Remember: all skin folk are not kinfolk. "
Kens who the racist ? Surely not Tommy?
There seem to be an awful lot of people and organisations tripping over each other to be the most outraged about something deemed not a crime by police.

There seems to be a need to declare a position that will gain approval from the herd like so many things these days.
The police are racist insofar they were reluctant to prosecute
Asian sex offenders in Rochdale.
Douglas punishment was still metered out by a lifetime ban to the matches ( if indeed they were football fans)

Yes Theland, asian men seem to have a penchant fir sexually assaulting young white girls so that to me is also a form of racism as they are being singled out. To me nowt wrong with the banner and glad it was proved they didnt break the law. Too much emphasis on the black community and racism, not alot said when black gangs are attacking other black gangs until it involves someone who is white then it becomes racism. If you dont like it then leave.
If we can have a lockdown for a virus, the should be one in black areas until the stabbing figures go down.
And the BBC should routinely announce the ethnicity of people arrested for stabbings and shootings.
(But they are PC too.)
Aye, make the punishment fit the crime.

Except there is no 'crime'. The court of perceived public opinion drives small men to try and do great things, showing why they're small in the first place.

I also think that being banned from football matches is not an actual punishment but more of a nudge to get on and do something useful with your time but that's another story.
0h good! the daily white supremacist column has arrived
I was wondering if I wd have to start it myself along with all the hassle of being accused of spoofing and lack of bone fides
and on AB ! the thought !

If black lives matter is allowed then white lives matter too is also allowabke - oh some latin: mutatis mutandis
or similia similibus curantur

as for the offence
perhaps the capital crime of bathos ?

"Oh heavens Mrs Mopp the loud mouth has been foully butchered by someone she has effortlessly bad mouthed on AB !"

oh - that is awful - and the day started badly when I found my favourite soft toy chewed under the bed! [and this caps it](*)

( er so that White Lives matter is foregone conclusion and perhaps even the problem - the matter to the exclusion of everything else)

(*) and um one is much more important than the other - I will let you guess which.
agree doug
are you the one with a first class doo-dah in Law ?
// Yes Theland, asian men seem to have a penchant fir sexually assaulting young white girls so that to me is also a form of racism as they are being singled out.//

ah not the first stupendous non-sequitur from an aryan of the day
but the first I spotted - and it wasnt even hiding
>What an insulting post Ken, not that I would expect anything from a hard leftie like yourself.

Well I agreed very much with ken's post and I've voted Tory for every election in last 40 years so don't feel I'm a hard leftie
''BLM protests have been hijacked by those with a sinister motive''

Ken, how many times do you need telling that the sinister motives where there from the start?

// If we can have a lockdown for a virus, the should be one in black areas until the stabbing figures go down//

and the second ! ter daah - non sequitur

not suitable for the lockdown thread
and not suitable for the BLM thread
oh I know let us float it in the white banner matters thread and see what occurs !

I dont have to look at the masthead -
I know this must be AB !
Bona fides, PP. My Latin master would have made mincemeat of you.
// Well I agreed very much with ken's post and I've voted Tory for every election in last 40 years so don't feel I'm a hard leftie//

oh come on be serious
can I edit this to -- -

Well I agreed with Ken's post and I've voted Tory, in last 40 years and really I am not a hard leftie - but this sort of utter tripe makes me think seriously of voting for Diane Abbott in the next election

( there now - much better - even tho Diane cant count)
o stulta puer ! miser Petre

( er Catullus I think, one of the clean bits)

isnt it an instrumental ablative ( no ab as that applies to person)

bonum videre aliquid linguam latinam scribere
I think the only answer for some white people is to go to their equivalent of Beachy Head and do the right thing.

Non sequitur? Where?
