I have never seen a single BLM spokesperson speak about David Dorn, a 77 year old man who spent 38 years of his life serving as a cop in St Louis, rising the rank of Captain. He was murdered just the other day by a looter while trying to protect a local business. Mr Dorn was African American.

I have yet to hear BLM lament the death of officer Breann Leath. A 25 year old African American police officer murdered while attending a domestic dispute.

Then there's Officer Tiffany-Victoria Enriquez, shot and killed while on duty. A 39 year old Hispanic cop killed in action. But hey, she's not technically black so I guess she doesn't matter.

And Officer Kaulike Kalama, another non-white but then again, not technically black cop killed in the line of duty. He clearly doesn't matter either. He was 34. He had a wife and son.

Of course, this list could go on and on. You see, BLM don't actually care about black lives. Not really. They only care about advancing their own political agenda by whipping up faux outrage in order to get their grubby little fingers on the levers of power. They couldn't care less about the appalling levels of black-on-black violence and murders in the inner cities. These killings are immaterial to these racists. And they are racists. They only 'care' when a black person is killed by a white person. When a black person is killed by anyone other than a caucasian, we hear nothing but crickets.

That's not compassion; it's partisanship. You're not compassionate if you only show compassion for those people with whom you agree. BLM are racist even if they don't realise that they are. They're a segregationist organisation that is designed to vilify caucasians for political gain.

Thanks. But I already have.

What do you think their response was to me accusing them of overt racism and selective faux outrage? Take a wild stab in the dark.
Brilliant post birdie1971. 100% agree. Same in England and specially in Ireland during the troubles.
I guess they called you a racist?
I don't need to know their response, as I said - they do not influence my life.

Thanks. The blatant hypocracy drives me up the wall.

Then why chime in?
I have been called a racist bigot for calling out black racism.
Many times on here.
It's an open forum and offered a link.

Are you fair skinned? If so, you're an evil person. That's BLM's message.

You see, many years ago, some very rich white people enslaved a great many black people. They called it “The Slave Trade”. And it was terrible. An abhorrent practice.

When anyone is asked about the Slave Trade they almost always think of a rich, white man subjugating a black man. And that was true about the African-USA slave trade.

But there were other slave trades occurring at the exact same time that no one wants to talk about. The Otterman Slave Trade for instance. Now this one ran for almost 1000 years. Much longer than the African-American one. Have you heard about it? The one that took millions of white European slaves? The one that castrated every single male slave to prevent them from having sex with their muslim masters' wives? That one? Have you heard about that?
Yes I am quite familiar with the history of slavery.
Alas, I enjoy white privilege and am subconsciously racist.
I have no defence.

Theland- “Yes I am quite familiar with the history of slavery.”

Are you?

Do you condemn Islamic slavery? A singularly barbaric one that was practised for nearly a thousand years? That took millions of white European slaves?
What happened to that man was an absolute disgrace, but the thing that is getting up my nose (other than the idiots taking a knee (I hate that phrase) in London) is the implied assumption that white on black is racist.

The killing in America may well have been (I don’t know whether it was - the only person that knows is the copper who killed him) but people kill for all manner of reasons.
Well said, someone talking common sense unlike all the lefties.
// He was murdered just the other day by a looter while trying to protect a local business. Mr Dorn was African American.//

erm was in Randolph Heast or Beaverbrook who said (*)
policeman kills forger on camera - that is news
Looter shoots house holder - that is not news

well even if he didnt - it explains why you hear of one and not t'other - - but you really knew that innit?

(*) OK misquote - man bits dog is news etc
chrissakes
// Do you condemn Islamic slavery? //
of course we all do
and yes we all know ir is permissible in the Quran
AND alot of us know it is still going on ( just north of sahara)
There are many influential and wealthy BAME people in the US so doesnt that show that being destitute, for many, is a life choice rather than enforced condition. If your life isnt good enough try harder, get a better job, do more overtime and turn your back on crime and hatred.
// Same in England and specially in Ireland during the troubles.//
god I hope not
we banned the slave trade in 1805
and liberated slaves 1833 - the cost to the Treasury peace time was so great that a similar size loan wasnt seen until 2008 and 2020

The irish are all mad anyway - any news on the bet Retro ?
// so doesnt that show that being destitute, for many, is a life choice rather than enforced condition.// crap at cryptics

crap at logic as well
