Following on from the PMs message last night, Boris will be revealing more in-depth clarity on the 'Stay Alert' road map and plans today.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-52612449

Have the British been too quick to criticise Boris and the Gov. on this?

With his message, is he putting too much trust in the public to maintain social distancing whilst going back to work and seeing friends and family? Do we all interpret information/guidelines differently?

If this has all been covered in the 'Oh Dear Boris' thread, please delete.

People who listened aren't confused diddly.
Thanks Ellipsis. And there's me thinking it might be something worth watching. Tut. Silly me.
Naomi - I've 2 emails from graduate friends this morning who also thought Boris was shambolic and telling us nothing worth knowing.
Diddly, have a little patience, a 500 page document is due to be published at 2pm. At 2.30 pm the P_M will be at the HOC to anwer questions form MP's, and tonight he will answer questions from the public.
Graduate friends, eh diddly? Are graduates something special in your world? You seem very impressed.
Probably extreme lefty ones Naomi!
Diddly, why would graduates feel the need to e-mail you. Were they seeking advice from you?
but diddly you only know people that agree with you!
^typo^ should be 50 page^
What I'm saying is that I regard graduates as intelligent people who can see right through Boris's bluster. It's a crying shame that more people on this site cannot do the same.
What is a shame is your persistent and malignant denigration of the Prime Minister. You really should consult someone about your obsession.
What is a shame is your undying support for the PM despite his many sins and misjudgements.
diddly, //What I'm saying is that I regard graduates as intelligent people //

You're rubbing shoulders with a few here - but that doesn't stop you telling them they're stupid.
rofl at this one

"What I'm saying is that I regard graduates as intelligent people"
I get the feeling Boris has been spending to much time watching Winston Churchill videos, with his robust hand jesters along with clinched fists thumping on the desk, content of speech none.
"What I'm saying is that I regard graduates as intelligent people"

Jeremy Vine is on the radio at the moment. He has a degree. Enough said.
For heaven's sake - even the right-wing BBC seems to agree that people were confused by last night's fiasco and Raab has only served to muddy the waters even further. If some of you can't understand that, I despair.
//even the right-wing BBC ...//

Oh diddly. What are you watching? :o)
Same as you probably - just a different perception of reality.
Move your telly to the other corner?
