Tesco, as well stocked as it was, didn't have any Sauvignon Blanc in a box (I know, I know), but they had Soave, so I got that instead. Meh, I'm 2 glasses in and I don't like it.

Lemonade - Arghh
Your suffering is admirable.
I had a friend with a vineyard long ago. He produced a bottle of his white port and said "Actually, you'll find it tastes better with lemonade." It did :-(
Rocky,the third one will be thd one that does it, it’s always that one ,it makes of breaks you, too early for me but I’ll have a tipple about 8ish , chin chin
Count yourself lucky. I am on self enforced abstention at the moment. I could die for a glass or eight of Rioja or Soave at the moment. :-(

I'm getting near to the bottom of the second glass, so my face is sort of going numbish, I hope the taste buds are too.

Have a few more glasses and you probably wont care about the taste! If all else fails pour some tonic water in your glass?

I treated my wife to a couple of bottles of Rusden Chookshed which she bought home from Australia, 1 bottle alone made 3 relatives very merry.
Try putting some fruit in it, makes it more fun,
Some soda water or tonic water, or just drink in sufferance.

I persevered into the third glass and couldn't carry on. I'm now imbibing a rather large Jack and Ginger.
I bought a box of their English white the other day because it was all they had left. Oh my word. It was DREADFUL.
I'm having my first alcohol of the crisis, just couldn't face curry without a beer, Proper Job. Lightly chilled. Lovely
Not being able to get hold of any lamb, joint or chops, never mind though.
Me no like Soave :( Chablis or Chardonnay if no Sauvignon blanc available.
