Surely Boris has more to do than interfere with Scottish football,
Yes he is prime minister of Britain but football matters would be better sorted out by the governing bodies, there is enough of them ,and overpaid for what they do
Mozz he's been doing it for a long time despite being asked several times by Naomi not to do so. It's stalking and it's unpleasant and sometimes nasty. Mods taken action over less.
Johnson does not have the authority to decide if leagues, have ended, only to suspend fixtures. The Leagues themselves will decide if leagues are temporarily suspended or null and voided.
The Scottish Sun is speculating, and just winding up its readers.
PP - I have only just realised that Naomi is being subjected to your unwanted attention.
I would not like it, neither would you, so in the true spirit of AB good manners, stop it now.
You will get far more respect yourself by being respectful to others.
at this time, the suspension of the various leagues is by the leagues themselves - in England until early April, in Scotland currently without expiry. the leagues must now decide what to do in the event the suspension continues to the end of the prescribed season - which looks likely given that the virus may not peak until June. whatever they decide to do is likely to leave them in breach of their own rules and liable to legal action. for instance if the premier league decide that the league results rest on table positions today, the bottom three clubs will be relegated - notwithstanding two of them are only there on goal difference and the third has a game in hand. this would breach rule C14 which prescribes the length of the season - and how can clubs be relegated if the season has not "concluded"?
if the government were to intervene though, the matter would be put beyond the control of the leagues and various insurances would be called into play, so i can see why some might wish BoJo to get involved.
Ah, I'd not noticed that Naomi (I'm not accusing anyone else of stalking you- once bitten, twice shy on that count). I've always seen PP's posts of either the rantings of a harmless idiot, or those of an utter genius who's posts are way over my head. Either way, I tend to ignore them.
PP's posts are perfectly comprehensible and only mildly teasing. He doesn't run round bellowing "remoaner" or "traitor" at anyone, as others are wont to do (without, of course, being banned).
Mushroom, it seems to me that the fairest decision is to suspend relegation from all leagues, top two are promoted from subsequent divisions, with a four down-two up 2000/01 season to restore the status quo.
Liverpool/Celtic awarded the titles, cup competitions cancelled. Also, cancel the League Cup for next year, to help deal with the extra premiership fixtures.

So why doesn't it?//
Probably the same reason that members being individually / collectively referred to as Yoghurt knitting etc etc lefties , are not removed or the accusers admonished by the Ed team
