In line with recent storm names, I wondered what had happened to FGH and I?
Apparently it’s because this one has been named by the Spanish Met Office:

Maybe it's an error and was verbally decided to be George.
Too much sangria, perhaps?
Has I missed Storm Ellen then?
first country to spot it gets to name it.
Well you live and learn. I didn't realise that other countries could get in first
My hatches have given up the battening.
that's because they didn't see it coming, ff.

I assume the next one will be Ellen.
It'll be interesting to see if UK news/weather programmes give it the full Spanish treatment....or wimp out and stick to the English version.
What's the "Spanish Treatment" and how much does it cost ?
If its from something picked up in Magaluf OG it could be quite expensive one way or another!
How about naming the next one "Drip Boris".
Why cant we have storms with good old fashioned English names, like Kyle or Jason?
Hey, gracias Chill por la advertencia
Bájate esas escotillas :0)
Storm Answerbank - It's often stormy on here :-)
Not another.....I saw a report that it was estimated that storm Dennis cost Britain nigh on a billion quid. What a waste of money. As far as I can tell it did more harm than good. I blame the Government .......ohh and Boris..........and Trump........and Brexit.
it snowed here in the capital today, crikey more wet weather on the way, not good is it..
It was only sleeting though. (I fancied a bit of snow but it didn't happen)
the last one was dennis therefore it must be a girls name starting with E.
